Edgebanders

Here at Calderbrook we have a large stock of new edgebanders from all the leading European manufacturers and can advise on the best piece of machinery for your exact requirement.

Edgebanders are machines used to adhere edging to sheet materials automatically and are commonly used for furniture, kitchen and door manufacture. The glue used can be either EVA or much more preferred these days is PUR due to its heat and water resistance. The glue is heated and then applied to the sheet material before the edgebander automatically applies the edge tape or strip.

Depending on the specification of the edgebander, the edge applied is finished to add quality to the sheet material.
