Panel saws are used for cutting sheet materials and, with the ability to cut wood, MDF, chipboard and plastic, they are recognised as being an extremely helpful tool in the woodworking industry. 

A panel saw consists of an aluminium sliding table which moves the material in order to be cut. More modern panel saws will also be equipped with electronic movements to provide quicker set up times, and increased accuracy. Recent research and development has led to panel saws now being offered with a double tilting feature, offering better flexibility and increased safety.
